42 years is a drop in the ocean when it comes to the lifespan of a country.

As a country we've come far, as a people we have a much further route to go.

I've never really thought of myself of belonging to any one country, after all, we are but one planet and any sort of division is for the convenience of the individual mind. We find it easier to wrap our heads around the concept of division rather than unity.

For what it's worth, we have to start somewhere and finding unity in that division might be as good a start as any.
