A sense of scale

I wonder if people realise how much life dwarfs us into tiny motes sometimes.

This was taken at the huge lobby of the new central library where people can come and go but photographers seem somewhat unwelcome. I got warned off by a security guard once just by carrying a camera and walking by.

Strange how people want to protect things that seem so public.
