Subway Entrance

The New York Subway is a character unto itself. A grizzled old thing with warts and all that will put up one hell of a fight with anyone and anything who crosses it.

This, I believe is the 7th Avenue entrance arrowing down into the earth, a domain where the concrete towers disdain. For some strange reason, I get the image of craggy dwarfs underground who sneer at the elves aboveground who constantly reach for the stars.

Weird.
