This Old Man

This was an open air concert at a place outside the Esplanade. It's nice at night when it's not sweltering under the sun.

The old man in question just spontaneously got up and started dancing during the concert, which is not something you say everyday in our staid environment. Not many people are given to moments of expressing their joy in this manner.

I suppose when you get older, you can go one of two ways. One is to get more conservative and clamp down on yourself from ever doing anything different, dangerous or embarrassing. Or you could think "Screw it, I'm going to live my life the way I want it and the rest of you be damned."

If only we could find that threshold to cross.
