Village boy

Posted by Justin (Singapore, Singapore) on 13 June 2007 in People & Portrait.

A whole bunch of us was down in Malaysia on an educational trip, trudging through the villages, seeing the sights and buying what passes for local snacks and handicrafts.

This was a makeshift handicraft stall in the backyard of people who lived on a vast plantation of palm trees and the kids were all running about, roaming the land while this boy chose to hide out under the table, with who I assume to be his mother manning the booth.

The focusing is rubbish but this was all I got before he decided to move along and play elsewhere.
