WaryPosted by Justin (Singapore, Singapore) on 5 June 2007 in Cityscape & Urban. I don't know what it's like elsewhere but cats roam the streets almost everywhere here. Some find them a nuisance, others actively feed the strays and clean up after. I think they see it as an act of kindness and i suppose it is to a certain extent but sometimes its more about the person than the cat. This was taken on my way to the bus stop when this cat stopped for an opportune snack that was thrown on the grass. The cat looked like it was concerned I would steal its snack more than anything else, staring into the camera intently, while I was no more than a metre away. Eventually, it went back to its meal and I went to catch my bus.
