Looking up

For those who are not into alternative photography, you might want to look away now.

This was taken with a Vivitar Wide and Slim. A nice little plastic point and shoot camera that can be a joy to use if you don't want to think about all the gory technical details that go into photography.

This was taken in the Central Business District with its skyscrapers and what not. It was a gloriously hot sunny day and I was talking a walk there on the weekend and just simply looked up and snapped this.

It's amazing what we can see when we lift our heads up and gaze into the sky. So much of urban living is about keeping your feet grounded and your head down that sometimes we forget that there are other realms for us to look at besides the grey concrete floor.
